HTA was established in 1988 as a sole practitioner expert Civil and Environmental Engineering practice. HTA matured with the market into a California Corporation in 2002. This practice grew from an expert consultancy to a practice that includes field testing, data evaluation, as well as, design, and implementation of corrective actions pertaining to environmental, health, and safety problems. HTA is a Certified Small Business by the California Department of General Services. HTA is woman owned. HTA is recognized and certified by the City of Sacramento and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District.
HTA’s strength is based upon extensive government and industrial experience that has shaped the technical and administrative rationale HTA uses to solve problems. This family based firm derives its personnel’s technical knowledge from formal education at several leading universities in environmental engineering and other sciences. Our strong foundation is complemented by HTA continuous investments in staff training and certification for areas of specialization desired to efficiently respond to client needs.
We have the capability to use our project experiences to the further benefit of our clients. Our approach is, most often, interdisciplinary and draws upon proven and experienced associates with whom we have working relationships.
While HTA is licensed in the Practice of Engineering by the California State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, HTA is also a licensed Contractor (#813806) by the California State Contractors License Board.
